Povilas Butkevicius led Lithuania with 13 points and 13 rebounds, his third double-double in five games this tournament.

While Lithuania, who are 0-4 in the group, cannot qualify for Saturday's semi-finals, they can have an impact on which team goes there as they take on reigning champions Serbia on Wednesday.

France led 21-15 after the first quarter and 38-34 at the break. They used a 14-4 run to open a 10-point lead on their way to a 55-49 advantage going into the fourth.

Butkevicius's inside basket trimmed the deficit to 73-69 with 23 seconds left but Judith made three of four free throws in the final 18 seconds to hold off the Lithuanians.
