The U20 European Championship Men 2009 in Rhodes and Ialysos, Greece concluded on Sunday. The fibaeurope.com was there for all of it and compiled some of the highlights of a wild two weeks.

Edwin Jackson very nearly won a gold medal all by himself on Sunday with 32 points and eight rebounds in his teams loss to hosts Greece in the championship game of the U20 European Championship Men. Serbia are the 2008 U20 European Championship Men gold medallists after a 96-89 win over Lithuania in a finals game that will be marked as one of the best in recent years.
This is the third year in a row Serbia are crowned in this competition but it came as no surprise.
Miroslav Raduljica of Serbia was named the MVP of the 2008 U20 European Championship Men in Riga, after leading his team to yet another gold medal.
The 210cm center dominated the championship from the first to the last day. He finished the games with a double-double average of 18.6 ppg and 10.9 rpg with a total of five games with double-double including the grand finals.
